Philadelphia is the biggest city in Pennsylvania, the second biggest on the East Coast, and the fifth most populated city in the U.S. It's situated in the Northeastern U.S., along the Delaware and Schuylkill rivers, and it's the only city-county in Pennsylvania. Congress Hall, the first home of Congress, is also here. George Washington and John Adams were inaugurated in this building, and the Bill of Rights was ratified inside. The Liberty Bell, Philadelphia's most famous attraction, was rung to mark the reading of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Despite its 2,000-pound weight, the Bell doesn't look that heavy. Philadelphia is a fantastic city to visit. It's friendly, full of history, and offers a great blend of old and new, historic and modern.
