Driver Age
The minimum age of the driver varies depending on the vehicle pick-up location as follows:
[State of NEW YORK]
Minimum permitted age is 18 years. For drivers between 18 and 20 years of age, a Young Driver surcharge of USD $84.00 per day will be applied; For drivers between 21 and 24 years of age, the surcharge will be USD $35.00 per day.
[State of MICHIGAN]
Minimum permitted age is 18 years. For drivers between 18 and 20 years of age, a Young Driver surcharge of USD $41.00 per day will be applied; For drivers between 21 and 24 years of age, the surcharge will be USD $28.00 per day.
[OTHER States]
Minimum permitted age is 21 years. For drivers between 21 and 24 years of age, a Young Driver surcharge of USD $27.00 per day will be applied.
Drivers under 25 years of age will NOT be permitted to drive the following vehicle categories: Minivans, 12-passenger Minivans, Luxury, Premium, Select, Special and SUV.
The Young Driver surcharge is NOT included in the rental price. It is paid in local currency at the car rental office.
Driving License
All drivers must present their own driving license, held for at least 1 year and valid at the time of rental.
An International Driving License (IDL), currently valid, will be necessary in case the original license was not issued in Roman Characters (for example, if it's in Arabic, Greek, Russian, Chinese, etc.).
The International Driving License must be accompanied by the driver's original driving license.
ID Document
An identity document will be required for all citizens residing in the country of rental.
For all citizens who DO NOT have residence in the country of rental, it will be necessary to present, in addition to an identity document, a valid passport.
Documents must always be original, undamaged, legible and valid.
ATTENTION: Customers who have indicated a country of residence outside the United States or Canada will be required to provide a copy of their return airline ticket at the time of vehicle pick-up.
Insurance Coverage Included
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW):
This protection is applied to all authorized drivers, partially covers any damage to the vehicle and is subject to the terms of the rental agreement. Instead of the total cost, the driver will be responsible only for the first portion, called the deductible.
Theft Protection (TP):
This protection limits the driver's liability for costs arising from theft or attempted theft of the vehicle but does not cover the loss of personal belongings. The liability will correspond to the amount of the deductible and is subject to the terms of the rental agreement.
Third Party Liability (TPL):
This insurance covers damage to third parties following an accident caused by the driver, excluding the rental car itself.
Roadside Assistance
Roadside assistance is guaranteed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is included in the rate.
In case assistance is needed due to a vehicle breakdown caused by the driver, the related cost will be charged to the latter.
Taxes Included in Rates
Value Added Tax (VAT).
Airport/Railway taxes.
Fuel
Full/Full:
The vehicle will be delivered with a full tank of fuel and at the end of the rental period it must be returned with a full tank.
In case the customer does not return the vehicle with a full fuel tank, they will be charged both for the missing fuel and an administrative fee to cover the logistical costs related to refueling.
Mileage
The rate includes unlimited mileage.
Border Crossing
Crossing the border from the state where the rented vehicle is picked up varies as follows:

- Vehicles rented in the State of ALABAMA, GEORGIA, KANSAS, MISSISSIPPI, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA and UTAH CANNOT be driven in the following States: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
- Vehicles rented in CALIFORNIA can be driven ONLY in the State of California.
- Vehicles rented in the State of HAWAII must be returned on the same Hawaiian island where they were picked up. Attention: driving on unpaved roads is prohibited.
- Vehicles rented in the State of INDIANA can be driven ONLY in the following States: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
- Vehicles rented in the State of MAINE can be driven ONLY in the following States: Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
- Vehicles rented in the State of MINNESOTA can be driven ONLY in the following States: Minnesota, Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.
- Vehicles rented in the State of MONTANA can be driven ONLY in the following States: Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
- Vehicles rented in the State of NEVADA can be driven ONLY in the following States: Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah.
- Vehicles rented in the State of PENNSYLVANIA can be driven ONLY in the following States: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
- Vehicles rented in TEXAS can be driven ONLY in the State of Texas.
- Vehicles rented in the State of WASHINGTON can be driven ONLY in the following States: Oregon and Washington.
- For all other States not mentioned above, it will be permitted to drive vehicles in all continental United States without restrictions.
[CANADA]
- Vehicles rented in the following States CANNOT be driven in Canada: California, Georgia, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
- For all other States not mentioned above, it will be permitted to drive vehicles in Canada without restrictions.
[MEXICO]
- Rented vehicles CANNOT be driven in Mexico.
If you intend to travel outside the borders of the pick-up state, please inform the rental center at the time of vehicle pick-up.
Payment Methods
At the time of vehicle pick-up, it will be necessary to have a Credit or Debit Card issued in the name of the main driver for the management of the security deposit and payment of the rental.
[Credit Cards]
Credit Cards accepted at the rental counter: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, China UnionPay.
The Credit Card must have embossed numbers and the PIN code may be required.
[Debit Cards]
Rental with a Debit Card is allowed for customers over 25 years of age.
BANK Debit Cards accepted at the rental counter: Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit.
The card used must be PERSONAL (with the driver's name and surname printed on it) and BANK-ISSUED (issued by a banking circuit and linked to a bank account).
With a DEBIT card, it will NOT be possible to rent vehicle groups belonging to the following categories: Luxury, Premium, Special and Select Series.
Attention: At airport rental offices, when picking up the vehicle, it will be necessary to show a copy of the return flight ticket, whose date must categorically coincide with the end date of the rental.
The following will NOT be accepted in any case: Revolving cards (credit or debit); Bancomat cards Maestro or V-Pay; prepaid/rechargeable/electron cards of any type (e.g. Postepay, PayPal); Visa Dankort and Cirrus cards; NON-PERSONAL cards; cards NOT in the name of the driver; cash and/or checks.
Always check that the Card used has sufficient availability at the time of rental. The amount blocked corresponds to a fixed sum (indicated below) but may vary depending on the size of the vehicle, the age of the driver, the duration of the rental and the pick-up location of the vehicle.
In case a valid Card is not presented, or it does not have sufficient credit, the counter operator may refuse to deliver the vehicle. In these cases, no refund is made.
Deposit Amount
At the time of vehicle pick-up, it will be necessary to deposit a sum as a guarantee.
This amount can be managed ONLY through a Credit Card or a BANK PERSONAL Debit Card in the name of the main driver.
Rental with a DEBIT card is allowed for customers over 25 years of age.
An amount of minimum value equal to USD $200.00 plus any extras or services purchased and not pre-paid online will be blocked/withdrawn.
This amount will be unblocked/refunded at the end of the rental if all rental conditions have been met.
The deductible value for damage and theft is USD $0.00.
Administrative Fees
In case of fines, the driver will be subject to the payment of an administrative fee to be added to the amount of the penalty.
Vehicle Pick-up
The vehicle must be picked up at the time agreed during the booking process.
After this deadline, the rental center will not guarantee its availability at the rental station.
Please always notify the rental center in case of delay.
Vehicle Return
The rented vehicle must be returned on the day and time indicated in the rental agreement.
In case of delay, the rental center must be notified and may request additional costs.
No refund will be provided in case a rental ends before the date indicated in the rental agreement.
Vehicles are delivered clean externally and internally and must be returned in the same conditions. Otherwise, the costs related to cleaning the vehicle will be proportionally charged.
Vehicle Type
The displayed vehicle and listed models are the most common ones used by our rental partners.
We cannot guarantee that the make or model of the rented vehicle will be the same as the vehicle displayed on our website.
Voucher
Upon arrival at the rental office, it will be necessary to present the voucher.
Attention: TiNoleggio declines any responsibility for any surcharges in case, at the time of vehicle pick-up, the voucher is not presented to the counter operator. In these cases, no refund of the deposit paid is provided.
Accessories and Extras
Additional accessories and extras must be requested at the time of booking or communicated to the rental center. These are not included in the rental price and will be paid at the time of pick-up.
Their prices are managed directly by the rental company, which reserves the right to make changes without notice.
Additional accessories and any special equipment are subject to availability, which can only be guaranteed by the pick-up rental center.
Cancellation Terms
Free cancellation of the reservation if you cancel within 15:00 of the 07/04/2026. Free cancellation allows the refund of the amount paid during the online booking process, on the same card used.
An administrative penalty of 181.9 USD will be applied where the cancellation is carried out after 15:00 of 07/04/2026 and in any case within 15:00 of the 09/04/2026. Any surplus will be refunded directly into the card used during the online booking process.
A penalty called 'No Show / Lost Rental Charge' equal to the entire rental cost (181.9 USD) will be applied where cancellation is made after 15:00 of 09/04/2026 or, in any case, where the vehicle is not picked up at the agreed date and time or where the vehicle was not delivered because the rental conditions stated in the terms and conditions are not met.
Out of Hours Surcharge
For pick-ups and returns outside the office opening hours, it is necessary to contact the rental center in advance. If the service is confirmed, this will entail the payment of a surcharge.
